I am very dissatisfied with my Meridian experience. While the company was very responsive when taking my money and setting my appointment, I have had a hard time getting replies since. I was moving from my current office space to a new space and needed a copier to be returned to Canon. I was told that the machine would be picked up on the 17th or 18th and that someone would call 24 hours prior to confirm. I did not hear from anyone on the 16th or the 17th. When I reached out to confirm the pick-up directly I was sent an email that said, “I do apologies it looks like our trucks were over booked for today . we are going to have to reschedule for tomorrow.” I did receive a call from the dispatcher on the 18th during which I explained that we were moving out of the space the next day (the 19th) and the copier needed to be off-site by 2 p.m. I was assured that the driver would arrive on the 19th between 8a – 1p. At 1:30 I started calling around to track the driver. I could not get anyone to answer the phone and messages went unreturned. Finally, at approximately 2:30 p.m. I was able to connect with the dispatcher, Dan. Dan told me that he was very sorry but due to an emergency the driver had to be diverted and he had no one in my area. He was surprised that no one had called to let me know. I’m not sure what kind of “copier emergencies” there are out there but it does not feel good to be removed from the schedule without the courtesy of a phone call. In addition, I was told that the best he could do was have a driver arrive on Monday, 5/22 between 8a – 10a. I had no choice but to take this offer. I then had to beg and plead with the landlord to let the copier stay a few days longer. I have reached out to the company for a partial refund on services but, unsurprisingly, have not received a call or email in response. I would exercise caution when moving forward with this company. They are good at making the sale but everything that comes after is a disappointment.
