Corona Panthers Youth Track Club, a non-profit 501 (c)(3)corporation, offers track & field and cross country participants ages 5 -18 a fun opportunity to improve their physical condition, learn new skills, and compete among the best athletes in California and the nation. 

Track & Field Season (January - June)

Practices is held Mondays through Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Corona High School track.

Overview: Polymetric, core strength & stability, running mechanics, jumping & throwing technique, circuit drills, coordination development required for sprints, hurdles, middle distance, long distance events and other sports.

In addition to improved physical conditioning and learing proper track & field techniques, athletes compete against other clubs in organized, Olympic style track meets on weekends.

Cross Country Season (July - December)

Practice is held Mondays through Fridays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at designated areas.

Overview: Developing speed, strength, and endurance needed to run 2K, 3K, 4K, and & 5K courses consisting of grass, dirt, pavement, and hilly terrain based on age against other clubs on weekends including local charity 5Ks.
