Our Philosophy: We will strive to provide a safe, stimulating, fun, educational, nurturing, comfortable environment in my home with a semi-structure day plan. Activities will include: structured and free play time, large motor skill playtime, small motor skills, arts and crafts, music and dance activities, story time and theater activities, cultural activities, nature and ecology awareness, nutrition, and other educational yet fun activities. We also provide nutritious meals and snacks, and encourage good personal hygiene skills and manners. In addition, we encourage self-help skills and toilet training along with parent cooperation. We have developed this philosophy through three fundamentals: beliefs, education and experience. We truly believe that all of these aspects will lead to the best program and most well adjusted children.
Children need a reliable and nurturing daycare in order to thrive and grow. This is most crucial in the earliest years when children are developing at a phenomenal rate. Young children require consistency of care in order to feel secure. We believe that this type of care can only be provided by a home care in which the child interacts with the same caregiver everyday.
We started my daycare in 2001. Our goals are to provide a positive, safe, nurturing and educational environment to all the children in my care. We realize that many parents today do not have the opportunity to stay home with their children, so we offer the next best option.
